“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” – Helen Keller
I lead an active, adventure-driven life — equal parts entrepreneurial energy and a genuine need to keep learning. When something captures my interest, I go all in. Outside of work, I’m a father of four, and an avid skier, photographer, and outdoorsman.
I travel extensively to ski both on-piste and in the backcountry, having visited most major resorts nationally and many internationally. As a certified instructor and instructor trainer at Winter Park Resort, I lead weekly webinars teaching other instructors from all over the country how to identify and analyze movement patterns — sessions I record and share publicly. I’m also writing a book on Movement Analysis in Alpine Skiing. Currently, I’m working toward qualifying for the PSIA Rocky Mountain Educational Staff, and to stay sharp physically in the off-season, I weight train, rollerblade, cycle, and practice yoga regularly.
Photography plays a real role in my professional life, too. I use it to highlight product features for social, print, and digital marketing — particularly photos of tradespeople using our products on real job sites. A few examples:
Outside of work, I also pursue landscape photography, with a particular fondness for autumn color in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. It’s one of the ways I stay connected to the outdoors I spend so much time in. A few favorites:
